You could talk about an important game you played in, where your team was coming off of a losing streak and morale was incredibly low. It replaces the high school transcripts used by the Office of Admissions during the initial admission process in most cases.

The only real requirement is that you tell a story, so just make sure your essay has a clear narrative arc with a beginning, middle, and end. You may also want to explain unique aspects of your academic background or valued experiences you may have had that relate to your academic discipline.

The essay should be personal and utilized as a tool to share your story with the Admissions Committee. Write from a perspective that is uniquely yours so that when you hit submit, you know no one else could have told the same story.
